New Technologies
The main objective of this committee is to make full use of the benefits provided by new technologies and adapt them to the work carried out by the geologist, to promote the use of new technologies in companies, among freelancers, associations, students, etc. converting them into tools that are both useful and easy to use.
Another of the objectives of the committee is the establishment of special agreements with service companies and this would signify considerable advantages for the members of the Association.
In like manner, the Association will make sure that all geologists,both active professionals and students who have completed their studies and want to enter the working world, or groups involved in and supporting geology, are provided with all the necessary information regarding tools, accessories, appliances, software, books, etc.
Finally, the new technologies committee also intends to provide Internet access to all members, and obtain offers or special rates and update the Association Web page on a regular basis.
