Recent graduates find that, after completing their studies, they are confronted with the dilemma of how to find work. We, therefore, provide them with information on the Internet (Web page, bulletin, e-mail) or by post, informing them how to become members, how to gain access to the job site and course offers. The Association also offers educational material of interest, access to a virtual library, periodical technical publications, the securing of discounts from collaborating companies, and information on the rights and obligations of members, as well as advice on how to write a curriculum vitae, role play at interviews, etc.
To create a Committee for study plans, in which the main objective will be to offer an up to date syllabus , adapted to the labour market, which will improve the quality of the degree course, by reviewing the subject content frequently. All of this is aimed at promoting the figure of the lecturer, who would be aware of the demand and take students on in the future. Recently qualified graduates need to know the state of the labour market before they embark on joining it themselves. They need to know what a contribution group signifiies in which group the contract of a graduate should be made, what a collective agreement is, and if the conditions of contract are in keeping with the duties to be carried out. Therefore, this Committee must collaborate with the university continually .
The Association must play an active, dynamic role. Members are expected to get involved in the association, by participating on committees, and contributing towards their democratic and participatory structure. With this objective in mind, responsibilities are assumed, teams are incorporated that collaborate with one another. This participatory attitude facilitates the accumulation of experience, provides a network of contacts, builds confidence in the individual vis-à-vis the future and and this opens up possibilities, particularly for recently qualified graduates.
